Meeting the needs of fleet decision-makers
For years, the fleet industry has been crying out for an event that brings together under one roof, the best products and services in the market. Now it has arrived.
The Fleet Business Show is just that – an indoor event designed to cater for the business interests of both full-time fleet professionals and for those with wider responsibilities in their organisation. It takes place at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London on Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th April 2008.
The exhibitor list already boasts some impressive names and includes:
> Motor manufacturers
> Contract hire companies
> Fuel management companies
> Fleet software providers
> Risk management companies
> Fleet industry professional bodies
> Auctions and remarketing companies
> ECO scheme providers
> Emissions management companies
> Telematics providers
The Fleet Business Show will provide visitors with the opportunity to discuss how the wide range of new products and services now available can help them:
> Reduce risk
> Reduce emissions
> Reduce costs
> Improve fleet management practices
In addition to the exhibition area, the Fleet Business Show will also offer a highly targeted seminar programme, with a series of speakers whose reputation will add great value to the event. These will focus each day on finance, safety and environmental issues.
Fleet Business Show organiser, Ross Durkin, said: ‘When you consider how much the fleet industry has developed in the last five years, the argument in favour of an event like this becomes clear. Fleet operators cannot hope to keep abreast of all of the latest product developments through the fleet press alone. A forum like this offering face-to-face meetings and product demonstrations is the best way for those working in the fleet industry to refresh their knowledge and understanding of who offers what and how it works.
‘This is purely a business show, not a ride-and-drive event. The motor manufacturers have told us on numerous occasions that their own demonstrator programmes are more than capable of meeting the demand for test drives. What they want to do is to talk business with people who either hold the purse strings, or write the fleet policy.
‘We already have an impressive exhibitor list and I can assure visitors that their time at the Fleet Business Show will be well spent,’ continued Mr Durkin. ‘We have chosen a venue with excellent communications links with the rest of the country, as well as a superb ambience for those wishing to discuss fleet business.’
